Citrix CTA – Citrix Technology Advocate

I’m super proud to announce that I’ve been selected to contribute to the growth of the amazing Citrix community as a Citrix Technology Advocate (CTA) for 2023!! Being part of the CTA group is an honor, because I’ll have the chance to represent the Italian Citrix community within the wider global CUGC group.

For those who don’t know what the two groups, CTA and CTP, are about: Citrix created these two awards, much like Microsoft does with MVP, VMware with vExpert, Nutanix with NCP, etc…, to recognize members of the Citrix community (CUGC) who have stood out for their expertise and dedication.

These two teams of specialists, split into a slightly larger group of CTAs (about 70 people) and an elite group of CTPs (about 60 people), have the primary mission of spreading knowledge within the Citrix community. Among the most famous CTPs are “legendary” figures like Carl Stalhood, Carl Webster, Eric Haavarstein, Sacha Thomet, etc…, who are super well known in the Citrix world and certainly need no introduction. Being able to exchange ideas with my CTA “class” and having the chance to “take advantage” of the CTPs’ mentoring is a huge opportunity that I can’t wait to make the most of!!

Here are the links to the pages of the two programs, CTP and CTA:

Citrix Technology Professional (CTP) Program – Citrix

Citrix Technology Advocate (CTA) Program – Citrix

The main difference between the two groups is that CTA members act as mentors for the local CUGC groups, while CTPs are called on to represent the CUGC at events and webinars around the world.

Earning this recognition is partly down to my stubbornness and dedication, but it’s certainly also thanks to the fantastic team of Citrix experts I lead, who help me grow every day and who are always a lot of fun and inspiring to work with! Thank you Athos, Simone, Francesco, Marco and Michele!!
