After 4 years at Bizmatica Sistemi S.p.A. (now merged into Asystel Italia S.p.A.), the time has come for a change. At Bizmatica I got to work alongside so many professionals, several of whom have also become dear friends.
The experience I gained at Bizmatica, a company of the Econocom group, has certainly been very valuable; I grew a lot in my role as a Manager and learned to handle important business and to deal with high-profile customers. I’ll definitely take a lot of great memories from these 4 years with me…thanks to all the Bizmatica folks and to the customers I’ve worked with!
But now there’s another challenge ahead! I’ve decided to go back to working for an independent company, so I can offer my skills (or rather, my team’s skills more than my own) to anyone who needs them, without being tied to any particular system integrator.
It’s definitely a big challenge! I’ve left a large company to “throw myself back” into a smaller one, but one whose primary goal is the quality of its services.
Throughout my career I’ve always tried to focus on quality…I’ve tried never to feel prepared or competent enough, and instead to keep improving all the time. This has led me to be recognized (without wanting to exaggerate) as a serious and highly skilled professional. That’s why this challenge is the right challenge for me! Where there’s a real drive to do things well and to be recognized as serious professionals, that’s the right company for me!
I’m now the head of “Innova Consulting Services”, the Northern Italy branch of “NovaCS Group”, an IT group that delivers high value-added professional services. As in the past, I’ll keep being both hands-on and not; I’ll take on both the role of Senior Architect (specializing in Citrix systems and EUC in general) and that of Branch Manager (a combination that I think is even more normal in a leaner company); I’ll handle relationships with customers and partners; I’ll work on research and development…so many things I love about this challenge!!
